REXEL India Concludes Amalgamation of Yantra Automation & AD Electronics

Mumbai – REXEL India Pvt. Ltd. announced the amalgamation of two distributors of Rockwell Automation namely Yantra Automation Pvt. Ltd. and AD Electronics Pvt. Ltd. with REXEL India Private Limited, making it the No. 1 Electrical & Technical Automation Distributor in India. REXEL India is largest technical automation distributor in country today with sales exceeding 210 crores, presence in 16 states, 25 locations, 240 employees and 10 stocking points.
Commenting on this, Mr. Vikas Garg, Managing Director, REXEL India Pvt. Ltd. said, “With this amalgamation concluded, REXEL will be able to serve a large base of customers much better and will also improve the professional distribution of Electrical and Automation supplies across vast geography of India. Thailand Appoints Anusha Dandekar as Brand Ambassador

Mumbai, 24 June 2016: The Tourism Authority of Thailand has launched a campaign to target women travelers. TAT is keen that the destination – already famous as India’s favourite – becomes the premier choice for women travelers when they escape together for short breaks and weekends, bachelorettes, kitty parties and holidays.
The tourism board is keen to benefit from the first-mover advantage and has appointed Anusha Dandekar as its brand ambassador in India. The hip, young Aussie-born Mumbaikar, who many still remember as MTV’s VJ Anusha, was chosen for her inherent love for Thailand and the fact that she is symbolic of the exact segment that they want to target. “I have been to Thailand over 50 times during my career at MTV Asia – we shot there all the time and I’ve tried all the food. It’s one of my favourite places and despite having visited so many times, it never gets old for me,” Anusha told team TAT in a meeting that cinched the Brand Ambassador deal.

U Mumba Players Face Off against each other in the Courtyard Mariott Kitchen

Putting their cooking hats on, some of the U Mumba players teamed up to cook off with the assistance of two brilliant chefs at the Courtyard Marriott . 
On a day where the winner would be decided based on taste and appearance of the food, captain Anup Kumar and local boy Rishank Devadiga each were partnered up with the new boys of U Mumba, Manoj Dhull and Sunil Kumar respectively. Armed with a set menu and the guidance of the chefs, the Mum Boys whipped up four superb dishes in just an hour, encouraged by the cheers of their fellow teammates.  As coaches Bhaskaran and Ravi Shetty looked on in amusement, plating was complete and it was time for the judgement. Rishank and Sunil had prepared Dal Fry and Bhindi Aloo while Anup and Manoj had prepared Gobi and Jeera Rice. After a careful round of testing by both coaches and the two chefs, Rishank and Sunil were adjudged the winners of the Cook-Off.
